At an altitude of 1072-3234 metres, the geopark is a Siberian-Mongolian mountain vegetation vertical zone, with a total of seven complete vertical natural zones developed, from bottom to top: desert steppe zone (1000-1300 metres), mountain steppe zone (1200-1400 metres), forest-steppe zone (1300-2200 metres), alpine and subalpine meadow zone (2200-2400 metres), Alpine tarragon turnip zone (2300-2800 metres), alpine tundra and alpine sparse vegetation zone (2700-3200 metres) and snow and ice zone (above 3200 metres). Among them, the dry desert steppe zone is more developed and the mountain vegetation is more arid.
