Amphibious reptiles

The geopark has recorded 12 species of amphibious reptiles of two orders and seven families, namely Xinjiang rock lizards, dryland sand lizards, foetal lizards, white-striped brocade snakes, extreme northern vipers, intermediary pit vipers, green toads, Altaic forest frogs, Chinese forest frogs, and Heilongjiang forest frogs, etc., with extreme northern vipers belonging to the state's second-grade key wildlife protection.
